Globalwarming Effect Increased By Plants

Globalwarming and climate change is discussed in the February 2007 edition of Scientific American by Frank Keppler and Thomas Rockman.

They discovered that living plants were producing methane, and in their words "quite a lot of it".

Doesn't that mean that in the age of dinosaurs a vast quantity of methane was produced from plants? So did globalwarming happen back then too?

They believe that mankind's influence is generating much more methane than plants could and it's us that are increasing the "greenhouse "effect" with this gas.

Still yet more (previously unaccounted for) methane is moving the planet faster towards the permanent climate changes we're all being warned about.
